When the United States took up the challenge to face these terrorist groups in Afghanistan and elsewhere, some were ranting. Today, a group claiming to act on Islamic Tenets separates Muslims from Non-Muslims and kills the latter group. Same modus operandi in Indonesia and many other places. What people do not understand is that Al Qaeda, Boko Haram, Al Shabab, Haqqani Network are using Islam to curry favour, mask their banality in a religious toga and hide the fact that they are murderers. These people should never be spared. They want to die and go meet their virgins (72 in all). No Carrot approach. Stick all the way. Wherever you find them. Maiduguri, Nairobi, Baghdad or Bali. These people are animals. May the Soul of Kofi Awoonor and all those killed in these senseless depravity rest in peace. Who is next?
