When the govt comes through the door of the church, it is a violation of the First Amendment. The mayor of Houston--who is lesbian--is abusing her power in order to force her personal views on others. Leftists like Ms. Parker has every right to her opinion, but when she codifes into law under the guise of anti-discrimination an ordinance that violates the Free Speech rights and the Religious Liberty of people with whom she disagrees, she is simply using Govt as a tool to control others. By demanding that Pastors hand over their sermons for her approval is not only Unconstitutional, but an abuse of power so extreme that she should be recalled and charged with a crime. It ought to be a felony to use your official power to bully your critics into silence. Every freedom-loving American--and everyone who claims to be a Christian--ought to be outraged. We need every Patriot in Houston to form a human chain around one of these churches to keep the Govt from trying to silence God. Your thoughts?
