When we are weak and sad, we are vulnerable to more negativity. - TopicsExpress

When we are weak and sad, we are vulnerable to more negativity. When we are strong and sure of ourselves, negativity may come our way as well, but less likely, and the negativity will be less effective. How can we keep up our vibration so that we live a full and productive, happy healthy life? Sometimes we need to rest, sometimes we need to celebrate (we really do need to do this), sometimes we need to seek refuge, and other times we shine. Balance is the key and giving yourself a break is important. There are rhythms in all of life – the tides, the planets, the seasons – it is natural; it is right. Sometimes we get sick and we need to stop and care for ourselves. Focus is the key. When we get too focused on the sadness, pain, sickness, we remain there. This is not to say to not rest and care for self – the body is saying it needs a break - a rest from the typical day to day. Sometimes we even get hurt so the body gets rest. Remember, the resting is a part of healing so don’t discount this idea: injuries need rest too so the body can rejuvenate faster/better/more completely. We cannot finish a marathon in a few strides and just like life there is this idea of process: many, many steps culminating in the fulfillment of the activity. Don’t give up, my friends. Yes, it may seem long and strenuous. Rest when you need to and ask for strength. Meditate – this heals the body: meditation and yoga puts your body in a state for healing and rejuvenation. Many run, run, run – always looking for energy to keep pushing through their day - pushing through the pain and discomfort, whereas, if we take time for self care through meditation and yoga – our body can and will recalibrate and rejuvenate. Ask your body what it wants and what it needs. Don’t be surprised if you get answers! A certain food or food group to eat, a push to go out in nature, more water, a certain supplement, a time allowed for rest, or even reconnection with family and friends that warms the heart and keeps us encouraged. You are doing a fine job and we all go through cycles. It is life, after all, and not a short dash to the finish. Allow yourself time to absorb the changes and new knowledge. Blessings to you on this fine day.
