When we first started our homestead journey, my grandfather asked me to tell him about living off the land. Honestly, wed just started so I didnt have a very good answer. But I do remember one part: it is a continuous journey. Some times you come to a crossroads and you have to rethink which way you want to go, as we are doing now. Being self-sufficient (completely) is a goal that may never be accomplished, but I think the journey is more important than the goal.
