When we speak the things that God has spoken to us, we release the power of its fulfillment When war rises against us, we know that the Lord will set us up on the rock of his protection. Shalom is the Hebrew word for peace, but it is not the absence of conflict. Shin is the predominant sound and beginning letter. It is the fire of God in tongues of fire. It is a destroying and restoring fire all at the same time. In the revelation of Jehovah-Shalom to Gideon, the way to destroy the very thing that was stealing their peace and placing their lives in jeopardy was to destroy them. How did they do it? They shouted what the Lord had spoken to them and the Lord slew the enemy for them. When we speak the things that God has spoken to us, we release the power of its fulfillment. * PRAYER INSIGHT By Don Grigsby (Moses Hightower Ministries)
