When we try to take matters into our own hands... we make a mess. Be easy... Let the Lord fight the battle for you. The Lord will fight for you while you keep silent. Exodus 14:14 ...If we can only get that keep silent part down. Yall dont believe that, QUICK TESTIMONY: Had a dude basically threaten to shoot me if I came outside because I said something (In Love) about something he was doing that I thought was disrespectful in my sisters house. (Not gonna get into details.) He got defensive, got mad and he said, Dont come outside bru! pointing at me as my sister was kind of pushing him out the door. Right then, I wanted to go outside and beat him up. lol. But instead I went upstairs prayed and then I hit up Terry D Jones to let him know what was going on. To make a long story short I just stayed in the house until ol buddy left then I went to the church. The next day the dude was in the hospital because of a situation he was having with his breathing or something. He called me and apologized. Come on man. I was shocked. I didnt have to retaliate, didnt have to say a word. Just took the counsel that was given to me and showed the love of Christ. I prayed for him and when he got out the hospital we had a good talk about the Lord. Never held it against him and we cool to this day. But imagine if I would have went outside and beat the dude up. I probably would be dead, hed be locked up and the devil would be laughing. Im not saying the Lord put bro in the hospital, Im just saying I didnt have to fight that battle, just kept silent. Hope this helped somebody. (The only reason I share stuff like this is to encourage and show people that God is real and His word is true, I dont be making these stories up.)
