When we were in high school we had to write a senior thesis. I thought about this for some time and opted not to write the History of Pants as one of my friends delivered. Instead, I want to my English teacher and asked a question, can I take on a topic that is more rhetorical and less historical. She said, ordinarily I would say no but I think you can handle it. My senior thesis was entitled Atlas Shrugged and the Fountainhead Fell. I attempted to shred the philosophy of Ayn Rand and do so to this day. I got an A but the thing I think I remember most is how to footnote and attribute. And as a writer, that became very important to me. I have thoughts and feelings and related stuff that I write about. I feel love and hate and sentiments that whirl about and make me whom I am. Others have borrowed from these sentiments without nary my name. You may take from me, but to fail to attribute me is a sin. This I learned at WG High.
