When will it be, Oh God of mercy? When will it be that the eyes of your children will be able to recognize your face in the face of all? When will it be, oh God of hope? When will it be that the eyes of your children will realize your divine promise made good for all? When will it be, oh God of peace? When will it be that your children will remember that you invite us all to be peacemakers? When will it be, oh God of joy? When will it be that your children will rejoice in the understanding that we are all co-creators in your re-creation, made known through relationship? When will it be, oh God of Love? When will it be that your children will recall the abundant life of loves journey that you have placed at our feet, as a guide? Gracious and loving God, shower your kindness upon us in the midst of our blindness, our hopelessness, our violence, our misery, and our hatred toward one another. Grant us your charity, your compassion, your courage, your care, and you conviction. Restore your sight, sureness, stability, satisfaction, and steadfastness in us, that your will be done now, as it already is in the oneness of you. Amen
