Where are the Good Cops? When I was little, very little I dreamt of becoming a good cop, Not a criminal one; not a dirty mop. I would have liked to arrest the biggest criminal. I thought that Police Officers existed To serve and protect, Not to lie, destroy, and murder their subject. Back then, the good cops affected Their communities in a positive way; They protected everyone on the subway. Where are the good cops now? Right now, many jerks are carrying powerful guns. I ponder, I wonder, I honestly wonder, how Can so many creeps, so many goons Presently call themselves Police Officers, Detectives, investigators or commissioners? Too many in the force are under-educated, Miseducated and not-educated enough To be in that important position. This is tough To digest, hard to accept this reality in this corrupted Environment. The bad or criminal cops Should not carry guns. They should be hired to use “mops” In the streets, so we can enjoy our life and our peace. I still love cops, the good ones who stand for justice, The honest ones who do not behave criminally, The conscientious officers who are fair, just and friendly. One day, I hope to put in good words for the Police Officers, Who serve their communities professionally like our brave firefighters.
