Where i was on 9-11 I was married to a special forces soldier in the u.s. Army. (my highschool sweetheart) living on Fort Bragg North Carolina, mu husband at the time was in training "in the feild" for a month. i tried to call someone. Anyone, back home. No one answered. So i went and worked out, by the time i got back the 2nd tower had gone down and i heard sirens going off all over Base. All the entrances to base had Armed guards with A-:ks pointed into my car, checking under the hood of every car that came in or out. being that we were on government soil. we were at hightened risk. 10 hrs from NYC this all happening. very intense. 3 months later, We decided to spend christmas day in New York City. the city still smoldering. the city was a ghost town. Walking down broadway i saw a total of ten people. snow was starting to fall, and landing on the remains of ground zero. Very emotional. Mine and another marriage ended that year.
