Whether she likes it or not, the credibility of justice sec. - TopicsExpress

Whether she likes it or not, the credibility of justice sec. leila de lima has been VERY, VERY SERIOUSLY ERODED by the excpose on her ex-husband’s meeting with janet napoles at the headquarters of the nbi, WHICH IS UNDER HER SUPERVISION. First and foremost, De lima should IMMEDIATELKY GO ON LEAVE until the probe of the incident is finished. ON LEAVE BOTH AS JUSTICE SECRETARY AND PROBER OF ALLEGED ‘PORK BARREL SCAMS. SIMPLY BECAUSE THERE IS NO GJUARANTEE THAT SHE WILL NOT INFLUENCE THE PROBE, If she is as impartial and trtansparent as she has always professed to be, de lima should have PUBLICLY and PERSONALLY ORDERED OR REQUESTED investigators to expedite their work and file charges against her ex if evidence warrants. De lima’s mere ‘no comment’, and add to this the DEASFENING SILENCE AND IINACTION OF MALACANANG, ESPECIALLY PNOY, leaves the probe WID EOPEN TO ANY AND ALL possible forms of intervention. The most likely immediate defense of de lima would be she’s not aware of hbert husband’s activities since they’re already separated. But think about this, boys and girls: the smart guys nbi people are, and considering who napoles is, it would be NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE, IF NOT AN INSULT TO their wits and COMMON SENSE, that NO ONE BOTHERED to report to her that her ex and napoles had met. If de ,lima won’t go after her ex-huisband, as napoles continues to be UNTOUCHED BY THE GOVERNMENT ANDF P;OLITICIANS (except for the charges filed against her), IT WOULD BE FOOLISH to even have the illusion that true justice will prevail in the ‘pork barrel’ case.
