Whew we were busy today! New foster, Claire, to the vet, she is staying over night and getting spayed tomorrow. Cleaned up the barn and put the paneling back up (and more insulation since the puppies thought the existing insulation didnt belong there) from where we switched the door. The girls moved a different sofa out there (much more comfortable) and another crate we had in the spare room. Been doing laundry most of the day, got a load drying and a blanket in the washer and the laundry is DONE after that. Tidied up the house and then leaf blowed half of the yard while Kaiti raked and threw the leaves over the fence for the city to suck up. Half way through it and I realized I should have left the leaves, might have spared the grass from dog damage all winter? *shrug* it looks so pretty, so it was worth the work. Made cheese burgers and fries for dinner, no where near as good as The Gathering Place. Have a couple appointments tomorrow then back to the rescue for the weekend.
