Which then of the Favours of your Lord will you deny? (55:13) فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ Think about something today that you have never thanked Allah (swt) for specifically. Something you have taken for granted. Something you use everyday. Think hard. How grateful are you for this favour? Sometimes we use this favour to oppress our own soul. When we do this there is no gratitude in it. Share it with us if you like also. Ill start. I heard this ayah while driving on my way to work. Even tho I have heard it before, it was quite overwhelming this time. It just hit my how many favours Allah (swt) has bestowed upon me and I am so ungrateful for it. My eyes when I look at haram.. my ears when i listen to music or gossip. The car I was driving in while others dont have enough to catch the bus I drive around to places of entertainment and distraction :( Ya Allah (swt) thank you, walhamdulillah, and make me of those that repay you with a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of what you have bestowed on me. If only I could thank you for being able to thank you.
