While I believe in the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights, and FURTHERMORE the Amendments as the basic precedents to our laws, in my day and age it is that very set of beliefs that has radicalized me. No cherry picking, and a clear idea from ancillary readings of the founders intentions. In our own society and infrastructure, we still have those who disagree with those tenets. Basic education is a human right. We set up the precedent to uphold the Constitution as citizens. If corporations flout the laws or seek loopholes to those principles, I think its high time the public set them straight. This nation was set up to AVOID its usurpation by elites, to be inclusive, to accept people fleeing oppression. If I am out of my mind and not a patriot, then I must have it all wrong. We are not supposed to IMPOSE our way of life, we are to model it.
