While I often post photos of the rural life I live now with my family, my heart also longs for the city. This city in particular. Chicago. My oldest was born there. I met my husband there. I lived my formative years there. And it will always be our second home. We love the noise, the people, the food. The traffic is what we dont adore. But everything else...yes. For me, its easy to love both the city and the country. Its suburbia that I feel I dont fit into. We tried that for a year. It definitely wasnt for us. This was taken last winter downtown. We were heading to the American Girl Store and mama had snagged a primo street parking spot! Where do you feel you belong?
