While Id stop short of calling Maher thoughtful in this or most exchanges, I otherwise agree with the author—Maher and Harris decidedly won this spat. Affleck didnt do himself any favors with his peevish demeanor and snide muttering. His knee-jerk responses betrayed that he didnt really understand the argument. Its a shame that a more capable foil like Reza Aslan wasnt present, as that wouldve made for a better-informed (though still equally heated) exchange.
