While hanging out with Cayden this weekend a stranger approaches me and asks his age. I tell her he will be 6 next week. She shakes her head with pity and says god bless you. I asks her why do you say that. She says because Ive been watching him and you have your hands full. That little boy is full of energy. She left me thinking...She may have meant God Bless You to be anything but positive however when referring to Cayden I receive statements like that ONLY in a positive sense. See what this stranger doesnt know is that God has/is Blessing Cayden (& I). Thinking back to the days when Cayden strived for fresh air (something we all take for granted) just to breathe properly, let alone have the energy to keep up with his cousins/friends. Cayden use to have to watch other kids play, ride their bikes, run, jump, etc. He NEEDED treatments daily, sometimes several times a day. Cay went from multiple surgeries to life threatening diagnosis. Weve endured a lot. TODAY, just days away from turning 6yrs old, Cayden Inri BY THE GRACE OF GOD is Ill free. Not even a simple cold cant/wont/dont stop by baby. So stranger I say this to you. MY SONS ENERGY is his Blessing! Thank you for your input but please continue to watch him grow & develop as healthy as God sees fit from the side lines. Oh, and May God Bless You!
