While in Battle Creek I helped form a Lupus Group......as well as helped organize A Walk For Lupus.....which bought in several thousand dollars in donations.....the second year ...I paid for the kick -off event ....before the walk.....the food and decor were perfect as I found kites at Sams club which were large silk Butterflies......which we hung all over the Art Center which gave us the venue for free......The butterfly is one of the signs of Lupus.....as some with Lupus have a marking on their face which resembles butterfly wings......
