While in office, Richard Nixon: •Officially ended segregation in schools •Created the EPA •Signed into law Title IX •Lowered the voting age •Decreased the deficit by 17 billion (at the time it was 23 billion) •Signed into law the National Cancer Act •AND ended the draft. Yeah, sure Nixon did a lot of bad things, but he also did a lot of good things, too. He was one of the most progressive presidents weve ever had, second only to Lincoln. Appreciate him.
