While rushing my sick son to the doc this morning, I saw a mini van on the side of the road completely crumbled by a tree that fell on them while they were driving. That could have easily been me and I am so thankful that even when I am down about my poor son being SO ill or being extremely tired from not sleeping all night, I have the protection of the Lord. It could be much worse today than my son being sick, I could be in Iraq fighting for my faith and life. Lord, help me to have thankfulness in my heart for ALL trials and hardships I face as a mother or even as a Christian. Consider it a great joy, my brothers, whenever you experience various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. James 1:2-3
