While sitting at home recuperating from my recent surgery, I decided to start rereading all the Louis LAmour books which I read for the first time about 40 years ago. The book I was reading was set in the 1860 and Louis was doing his level best to depict what times were like then in the wild west and the language of the men who inhabited the west at that time. All was going great until I came to the phrase, It seems like there is a African American in the woodpile. I almost lost it. It now seems that the liberals in this country have nothing better to do than to protect us from the language Louis LAmour used in the early 50s while writing these books about the old west. Can you imagine all the work they have ahead erasing the past couple of thousand years of history. At least they are making such a laughing stock of themselves, we dont have to help them.
