While the issues are breaking bad for Ds, the GOP has a big problem, which Rove accurately states: Republican candidates must show they are in touch with voter concerns about growth, jobs, paychecks, government spending and debt. The only way to do this is by offering specific, persuasive ideas. Perhaps the GOP cant cut their message through all the noise, but so far the national election conversation has been devoid of specific, persuasive ideas. Neither sided has provided good ideas, but the burden is on the GOP and so far its been pretty quiet, at least from my view.
