While there ARE positions and specific roles that the husband and wife play out in life and it is supposed to be that way, there is NOTHING wrong with each helping the other out in the others area of work. since the Whole of the Scripture and the Testimony is filled with reminders of our places as Yahuah intended, we are also reminded about love and respect. The woman was placed as the mans help meet. Yet, if the man loves his wife (as we are told to do), then if she is overwhelmed with chores, it is right and loving to assist her. Just the same, if the husband is overwhelmed with his work, the wife, out of respect, assist him where needed. My wife and I work as a team as much as possible. And with me being a trained chef, many times I actually prefer to prepare certain types of meals for the family. Also too, with her partial disability, When it comes to the laundry, I hang the cloths a lot faster than she can. And it is not spoiling me that when Ive been doing heavy labor, that she will massage out the aches and pains that come from it along with my age. And with three very young boys who are everywhere at once, it takes the both of us to corral them and to tend to their needs. But at the same time, as the Messiah had pointed out to us, there is a hierarchy of roles that must not be abandoned. Our Abba Eloah Yahuah is over His Son, Yahushuah. Yahushuah is over the congregation/communities. The Congregation/communities are over the man/husband, The man/husband is over the woman/wife, the wife is over her children. What the satan has instilled into the woman back at the garden is that she thinks herself equal to the man and does not need his covering or rule. Yet, the Torah tells the man that he is to specifically rule over his wife and household. BUT, he is to do so as Yahuah Rules over His Kingdom, with love. For indeed, the woman has received the curse of Chavahs/Eves choice to not cleave to her Eloah or her husband(Adam) but listened to the advice and instruction of another. And the satan still plays upon that curse to this day. For the mans part, he is under the curse of Adam in that Adam failed his wife in that he did not take his part of rule and bring her before his Eloah Yahuah, but instead he went along with his wifes rebellion and partook of that knowledge and now is forced to have to toil and rule over her the rest of his days. He is forced to have to protect her from the snares of the satan in its many forms, which includes false doctrine and ideas of rebellion and want. Can ANYONE show me in the Word where any that I wrote here is incorrect? And ANY who say that was in the Bible times (as christians like to say), let me remind you that every day is a part of the Bible times and even after the Judgement, we will ALWAYS be in the Bible times. For they are without end and all that was and is, is but a foreshadow of what is to come. Amein.
