While watching the World Series, I was Wondering why there are so many broken bats in Major League Baseball these days. Do the players NOT know how to hold a bat properly? When I played baseball they didnt have aluminum bats and you learned to bat with the label up. Do the bat makers not put the labels on the bats correctly, or do the players not know how to hold a wood bat since they grew up on aluminum bats, or is the wood not cured after the tree is cut because they need to make bats quicker than they used to? Anybody know the answer?
