While we are waiting on the World Cup to start the bar guy turns the channel to ...... NASCAR! There is confused silence then every Malawian turn towards me as one being. I am the only American in the sports bar. As such I find myself the center of knowledge for all things NASCAR. Of course I know next to nothing of this sport. So now the Malawians know that in order to be on a pit crew one must be born as a William Robert. And that they only turn left because in the areas where NASCAR is popular they cant afford right turns. And of course I pull up my FB and show them Gary Fowler pictured in a NASCAR fire uniform thingy sitting in a car as proof I am in the know. So NASCAR experts and friends, what other knowledge can you pass along to me to share with my NASCAR friends?
