Whilst Ayrtek have been quiet on their Helmet Failure with regards to stuart broad being hit on the nose. I may of found the answer. Taking a closer look at the Adidas Helmet that Broad was wearing you can clearly see its the cheaper NON ACIS equipped helmet. Its the cheaper plastic titanium grill HOWEVER this still doesnt explain how the ball made it through the grill and peak. Im sure Ayrtek are waiting to get the helmet back in their hands so they can properly examine the failure. It also looks to me like Broad had his helmet set on the widest setting ( you know my thoughts on adjustable grills ). We wait patiently to see what will come of this..
