Directed by Lina Plioplyte and Ari Seth Cohan, the documentary follows the lives of 7 eclectic New Yorkers whose personal style and spirit have guided their approach to ageing. ‘Advanced Style’ paints intimate and colorful portraits of independent stylish women aged from 62-96 who are challenging conventional ideas about beauty, aging and the Western obsession with youth.
