Who among my friends and followers carries an axe or tomahawk with their kit? I am in no way a stranger to the axe nor ignorant of whats on the market, as I own pretty much all of the favorite brands and models. I just want to hear some stories based on experience. What do you like and why? My favorite these days are the spike-less designs by RMJ, as they just cant be beaten, IMO for overall tasks. In a fight, I still prefer the wooden handle traditional with extra edges like a sharpened nose and beard, maybe a short hammer poll for kneecaps, ribs, and lumbar vertebrae... H&B Forge, RMJ, CRKT, 2Hawks, and maybe some Cold Steel hawks for cheap ($20-30 on Amazon) throwers.
