Who do you want to be – an innovator or a copycat? Are you sick and tired of your dayjob? Do you dream about being your own boss and leading your life in a direction you have always wanted? The answer may lie in setting your mind around innovative thinking and taking steps toward being an innovator. Every new business owner or someone with thoughts about starting their own business has one important, life-changing decision to make: what should they build their business on? What idea will be profitable? What are people looking for? Where many new business owners go wrong is that they take a well-known, loved brand and incorporate their own ideas around it. There is only one very simple problem in that concept, a problem that usually results in loss – copying a brand or an idea that is already known and grown strong roots in the market will mean that your business will get a „bad scent“ as a copycat, someone who has nothing new to offer and therefore, clients still prefer the „good old“ one. Not only is this terrible idea in financial perspective, it is damaging to your company’s reputation, meaning the chance in getting your foot in the big corporative world is around zero. However, you do not have to look hard to find a way to build your business. Success lies in being an innovator, bringing something new to the market. Many researches have shown that even in a field with already strong competition, new vision makes all the difference – not only does it provide options to clients, it refreshes the outlook of other competing companies as well who see a groundbreaker and feel the need for a kick in their business as well. Not only is it highly likely to succeed with a fresh vision in a field, it is even better to provide something completely new: whether it is a technical gadget that seems a bit quirky at the beginning or a toy that makes it easier for kids to learn alphabet, people love to try out new products. Innovation is the key in success and if you put all your heart into it, you will find an invention that will lead your company to the map firmly. If you want to take the lead, start looking for what is missing in the market and fill the gap. Variety is what makes the world interesting and new inventions are like a force that direct our society into a better, more efficient future.
