Who likes a mortifying story? Today, when I went to get this pizza at Tads, Makenzie insisted that she bring her nerf gun. It has these little foam darts that dont hurt very badly, but they do sting a bit, especially when you arent expecting it. Well, I let her play games while we waited, and of course I wound up holding the gun. I didnt call in the pizza bc my phone had died in town. There were 2 parties & it took about 30 minutes to get my pizza. It usually doesnt take long at all. I began to get restless after spending the rest of my change on games. Those of you who know me well know that I sometimes zone out a bit & dont think before I do things. Im kind of in my own head. I decided apparently, without even realizing, to pull the trigger on the Nerf gun. The dart shot straight up in the air, hit the ceiling, and ricocheted directly onto the top of a mans head. What an experience! In my defense, Makenzie and been telling me for some time that Jordan had ruined all her darts and she needed new ones. I thought they were all gone. I have found tons of them ripped apart all over the house over the past few months. He took it really well. He had actually seen me shoot it up into the air and knew I wasnt aiming at him. Never wanted to crawl in a hole more than that moment! #lifeoflaura #wompwompwomp
