Who might be interested in taking a basic combat trauma first aid primer course taught by me? This would address basic first aid only briefly, but focus more upon catastrophic injuries like severed limbs, large sucking wounds, and gunshot and stab wounds. It will also focus on mental preparation, triaging injuries and prioritizing continuing threats to the subject and/or yourself. The reality is this: We can tend to overemphasize certain aspects of our training, but its easy to forget sometimes that its a two way range out there. The likelihood of you or someone with you sustaining a gunshot wound or otherwise severe medical emergency in a violent encounter is not only high--its probable. #Train360
