Who told them we dunno that the $156 million isnt for sanitary pads alone? That component in the facility is disgusting in demeaning! The project is for secondary school girls, so they mean to tell us that the average secondary school girl does not go to school when she menstruates? The most unfortunate part is that they always cite the examples using primary school girls. Unless someone tells me that the money for the project will be diverted. If it is not stupidity and sheer madness, which country will go for a loan and use part of it to buy pads? And u have some people vehemently defending this in Nkrumahs Ghana. What happened to self-reliance? If government is all about this, going for loans to do everything, then my class 3 pupil can rule Ghana...... it is painful and scornful what this government is taking Ghana through. Going for loan to buy sanitary pads???? Ah, what kind of leaders have we selected to rule us? And someone went for a meeting, raised his/her hand and the wisest thing that could come out of his/her mouth is to go for loan and use it to buy sanitary pads for 5 years, and sane heads were nodding! #MPads
