Whoa! I went to a website for a well known oldtime jam group and found a jam etiquette section. Reading their rules/suggestions it struck me about how different Cabin jams are from normal oldtime gatherings. Cabin rules pretty much fall into the just have fun category. Thats not to say some nights arent musically better than others, but even without rules almost every night is memorable and many just never want to end.
