Why AT&T should not be allowed to be a public utility. Today our street was being paved. An exceptionally less gifted truck driver managed to rip the phone lines off our house as he wrapped them around his dump bed and dummy axle. After untangling the lines and having him pull forward I was left with intact phone lines lying in the middle of a street being paved. I secured the lines to as basket ball hoop and contacted Tierzero. Tierzero placed trouble ticket with AT&T. I got thinking about AT&T and how they are beyond really sucking. With Susans help, I got up on our roof and using some of my best rope techniques secured the phone lines to a an iron vent pipe on the roof. A good thing I did. AT&Ts response time? They are supposed to be here at 12:00 noon tomorrow to repair the wires they think are still lying in the street. I figure the rope ought to be good for a couple of weeks.
