Why Derrick Rose is poison to the Bulls Not that I want to be the one that bets against Derrick Rose but he isn’t exactly the 2015 Superbowl favorite. There is a big possibility that he doesn’t return to MVP form (25pts/7ast/4reb). And I used love Derrick Rose’s ‘I-don’t-recruit-stars-to-Chicago-only-Kirk-Hinrichs-ankles’, but he was an MVP calibur player when that happened. I was assuming that he wouldn’t recruit because playing for the league’s best point guard should be an easy decision for many stars who can’t take it to the next level. But if Derrick doesn’t have that next level, he has become poison to the entire Bulls organization and fanbase. Now, we may have a scoring point guard who struggles to score efficiently, and doesn’t recruit players better than him. Uh oh. That spells good news for everyone not a Bulls fan. This means basketball purgatory for the next 10 years. See, pride isn’t such a good thing. Lebron probably recruited Ray Allen and what is the result of that? Sorry, I don’t know basketball heaven from basketball hell.
