Why I hate Nasheeds. Imam Abu Hanifa had the strictest madhab, - TopicsExpress

Why I hate Nasheeds. Imam Abu Hanifa had the strictest madhab, his madhab was strict concerning musical instruments: He detested singing and considered it sinful, they would reject a person’s testimony- reject the testimony of the person who listened to music. For example, if a person testified that they saw any crime, and he was among those who listened to music, his testimony would be rejected. Abu Hanifa also said that music is haram according to ALL religions. In fact, in all religions music is forbidden. He further said: listening to music is fisq, defiant disobedience and enjoying t is disbelief –(kufr). i.e: listening and deriving enjoyment out of music is disbelieving in Allah at the time of listening to music, because you are enjoying something that is totally forbidden, instead of feeling guilty and remorseful. This is what the Imam abu hanifa said. I’m not labeling anyone a kafir- I’m just relaying what he said. Imam Malik was asked: Ma –ama yatarahkas fi ahlul madniah fil ghina, inda ma yafaloo hu indana fusaq. He was asked what concession the people had regarding singing…? He said : A’ooza billah, none does this here except the corrupt people. No one gets involved in music and singing except the corrupt people in society. When someone asked him about singing he replied: fa ma za badal haqqi – illad dallal. He said ; Allah says in the Quran, what is after the truth except deviance. Is singing the truth? What is the truth? The Quran. This was the fiqh of Imam Malik (r.a) Imam shafi’e, I his book- adab ul qada, that the one who partakes in song to be AN INCOMPETENT FOOL. Someone who’s foolish, an idiot, whose testimony is to be rejected. Furthermore, he said : I left something in Iraq, people call it taghbeer, which was invented by the herectics to lure the people away from the Quran, predominately the sufis. Imam Ahmed (r.a) , his osn Abdullah was another Imam, who followed his father’s footsteps in righteousness and knowledge, asked his father about music. He replied that he wasn’t surprised that it cultivates hypocrisy in the heart. (video 4/11 , 6:51) Ow, let me share with you some wisdom, what is the wisdom behind the prohibition of musical instruments and singing and also included is ISLAMIC NASHEED? Before answering that, let’s hear from Ibn Qayyin al Jawziya, who commented on Ibn Mas’ud’s statement that “hypocrisy cultivates hypocrisy in the heart”- he said “ these are the words of someone who fully understands singing and its effects, for no one regularly listens to music / songs except that his heart falss into nifaq/hypocrisy whithout him realizing it. If such a person understood the reality of nifaq and it end he would see it in his own heart. Never do the love of songs and the love of the Quran come together in a persons heart except that on expels the other. If the singing comes in, the Quran is out. If the Quran comes in , the singing is out. He said: I and others have seen how heavy the quran is to singers, how they coil when it is recited, how they get angry when a reciter recites too long for them in prayer. But when the Quran of Shaitan comes, how they lower their voices and settle down, how their hearts feel at peace, and how they get emotional, how moved they are inwardly and outwardly, and spend on clothing and perfume staying up, hoping for a long night ahead. If this is not Nifaq- hypocrisy, then certainly it is the way to it and its foundation. (video 5/11 1:30) Before we actually plunge into the topic of Nasheeds and the munshideen, lets read wonderful written by Sheikh Salih Salih : “ in pre Islamic and early Islamic history, nasheeds were rafi’s sauti’ bishi’ir ma’ at tarqeeq” – to beautify one’s voice while delivering a poem. To beautify the delivery of sound during poetry, that’s actually what nasheed is, an-nashheed involves wholesome poems about battle victories, wisdom and courageetc… chanted in an unorchestrated fashion without the accompaniment of musical instruments. During the 2nd century after Hijrah, chanting of du’a , rememberances crept into the Ummah by innovations of the mystic Sufis who learnt it from the Christians, like the acapella which is a very famous Christian way of delivery, which is the way they used to sing in churches. Because churches and discos are basically the same thing nowadays, you can’t tell the difference. The priest is basically the conductor, and then you have the choir and the musical instruments and the long extended vocals, like opera. So everything became like chanting, du’a became like chanting , zikr became like chanting – and this is called Taghbeer, all of these forms were denounced by the early scholars of Islam. ( video 7/11 00:07)- including Imam Shafi’e, Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn Qatheer, Ibn Rajab and others, the Sufis centered most of their methodology of worship on congregational taraneem, singing by the way of trilling or quavering or prolonging the voice with a musical sound, resembling the Christians in their churches. The the sufis began to introduce physical movements during rememberances and dua, close to those practiced by the Jews. ( video 7/11 00”37) Rarely do you witness a sufi hadrat without these innvated practices. Like the sufis who spin around in some of the Turkish cities, spinning around wearing a red pointy hat, and spinning and chanting – like a helicopter. So, now you know where nasheed came from. Nowadays, many Muslim parties-general “normal so called muslims” groups have innovated special bands for emotional arousing of their followers and the ummah at large, much of what is being practiced with these nasheed does not escape one of the following observations - At the time of depression, what do these people want to listen to? Their favorite song. When Romeo couldn’t get Juliet, what did he do? He pulled out the guitar, bang, bang, bang, and Juliet was at the porch within minutes. When a male loser can’t get a female loser, he writes a song to her, and he sings it, and suddenly she’s in love him. These are the facts. Who are the famous munshideen in the Ummah today? One of them, Abu khatir, Ahmad bukhatir something like that, this guy has a song called “last breath” . shockingly enough “last breath” was written by a Christian. The words and lyrics of the song aren’t by a Muslim, they’re by a Kaffir sung like the way of the Kuffar with a video clip. Completely irritating. To see a Muslim man doing a video clip like those other people, walking around, wearing his best clothes, trying to look attractive to the women, not giving a lecture, not giving a beneficial khutbah that we can use in life. We can’t blame someone for looking attractive and looking nice, but they are blameworthy if they use they use this in a manner that is unislamic. Here are some of the comments from that video: “I’m not a Muslim, but this is my favorite singer in the world.” A Muslim said: “My heart is very hard, I’ve never cried until I heard this nasheed.” The nasheed is more effective than the Book of Allah. The nasheed- you can’t really even call it a nasheed, the music, lyrics, clothes, the showmanship, the show itself, the background and vocals – its all music. The band, the production, the cd’s, album covers, it’s a music business disguised under Islamic nasheed. Nasheeds = Sufi centered worship. The sufis centered most of the methodology of their congregational worship around taraneem, which means singing by the way of trilling or quavering or prolonging the voice with a musical sound, resembling the Christians in their churches. Then the sufis began to intoduce physical movement during rememberances and dua, similar to those practiced by the Jews. Rarely will you witness a Sufi hadrhat, without these innovative practices. So, now you see the Sufis wearing these big robes and spinning around like a helicopter. Nowadays, the matter is not limited to the Sufi anymore. Many Muslim groups have innovated special bands for emotional arousing of their followers or ummah at large. Most of what is practiced in these nasheeds does not escape one of the following observations: 1. These nasheeds involve more and more children, making them busy with what can be said – at least – with a thing of a lesser benefit. Introducing nasheed at a younger age. Where’s the Quran? Where’s the Sunnah? Where’s the Hadeeth? 2. The nasheed are accompanied with musical instruments, chanting, with eastern and western beats, in the name of culture and tradition, this is becoming more and more apparent with bands competing in the production or selection of western beats. Even if they aren’t using “music” from any musical instrument, they are using everything available in the world to produce music- vocals, computer software that changes the voice to echo. They will swear that this is not music, but it is. This similar to the Jews – Allah did not permit them to go fishing on Saturday, so they use to put their nets in the ocean on Friday and pick them up on Sunday. It’s the same thin, playing games with the Ummah. Do you think people are stupid? They can’t tell the difference between music and no music?this is being integrated into the nasheeds, flat out, without any reservations. 3. Remembrance of Allah is introduced into these nasheed in a way clearly resembling the intonation and chanting of the Christians in their churches. Completely disgusting, the way a man would dare to say Subhanallah like a woman. The women who were created with a soft tender voicewhich men appreciate, we don’t appreciate that in a man. And if Allah gave you this kind of voice, we don’t want to hear it. To deliberately soften your voice so you can remember Allah, this is the closest thing to a Christian singing opera singing Hallelujah. Don’t even talk the videos where they’re acting and that guy Sami Yusuf has “Subhanallah” coming out of his hands. A million and half views, how many Muslims are spending how much time listening to this junk? time which is valuable which we were created for. And comments praising him as if he is a disciple of the Messenger of Allah. Women loving him, wanting him to add them on his facebook account: I love you, I can’t believe you added me as a friend. Eighteen comments in a row. Here’s another one: thank you for visiting us in Germany. Is this Islam? Does something become Halal just because you put the word “Islamic” in front of it? Have you seen the interview on CNN, where they woman questioned him for poisoning the Muslims and he just blubbered out his reply, he couldn’t even reply? He just mumbles duh duh duh bluh bluh bluh bluh, Music transcends above any jurisprudence, music transcends religion, he says. Above ayats , above Quran, above hadeeth, music transcends way above that. This is what Sami Yusuf says about Islam. These are his true colors. Music is so integrated with his soul that nothing in islam can even deal with it. Search it yourself- on youtube – Sami yusuf-interview with CNN, and see him mocking the deen. This is the same Sami Yusuf who signed a contract where music is being used deliberately and without any restriction in his songs. If your children keep listening to these individuals, you will not find them obtaining the results you want. When they reach a certain age, the only thing they will be fascinated with will be the songs and nasheeds and the quran will have no place in their heart. From now, we need to bring them on the good teachings of the Quran. 4. The congregational chanting and singing that takes place resembles that to a great extent that which goes on in the circle of the mystic Sufis in their singing circles. Former stars are being more involved in the mystic Sufis- with these so called nasheeds. Some of these bands singing in the burda – where the Prophet is given the attributes of Allah.
