Why a lawless president and a lawless congress? Because this is an Empire ruled by and for the wealthiest few. They believe they are the law and whatever they decide is law is also legal and moral: murdering citizens by drone in foreign countries is just fine; armed aggression against nations that pose no threat to the borders or security of the USA is just fine - Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and not Syria; Washington DC is a cesspool of corruption, immorality, ethical bankruptcy and murderous intent and acts.
