Why are black public schools being shut down all over the country, not just here in Kansas City? Because the government no longer needs us. We were brought here to catapolt industry labor at a nonexistent cost. Now, immigration reform is taking care of that. This is another reason why we have to invest in our own and run our own businesses. In the meantime, the children of Korean beauty supply store owners and Arab gas station owners are going to college off of our dime. If we invested those same dollars into black beauty stores and black gas stations (someone let me know when they find one, lol!), we could fund the college education of our own, black children. The degree is nothing more than the paper that proves they have the education and expertise not to work for somebody else and make someone elses dream a reality, but to start their own entrepreneurships or to keep the family business running.
