Why are we still fighting over such punitive disagreements EVERY single year for goodness sake! If you dont agree with Mawlid, dont agree and do what you do during that month. If you do agree with Mawlid than celebrate it. And everything in between. I dont understand why Muslims have to have this discussion every year, especially at a time when our Umma has maintained a crisis status for over 100 years. We are in CRISIS as a religious group and Mawlid is what your railing against once a year. Give me a break! Both sides have their recognizable proofs that scholars all over the Muslim world understand know of better than you can imagine yet they make their decision and move on!
