Why chose a mortgage banker and not a national depository when choosing a residential mortgage lender? Simple. A mortgage banker is solely focused on residential mortgage lending. A national depository, in most cases, does not include mortgage lending as a core competency and thus, quite frankly, is not very good at it. Dont put the largest investment of your life in the hands of an entity that views mortgage lending as an afterthought.
