Why do any of us need to continue waiting to see what Apple tends - TopicsExpress

Why do any of us need to continue waiting to see what Apple tends to unveil for our home living experience from their acquisition of 3d sensor tech company PrimeSense who invented the tech that made Microsofts Kinect device a reality when for $130 we can experience OneCue today and control our lighting, window treatments, thermostat, sound systems, gaming consoles, televisions and Apple TV box, etc.? Just curious. The OneCue looks like the one device to have. We have a kinect and watch movies, tv programming and play games on our xbox by using hand gestures and voice commands and its starting to become normal. We dont watch network tv (mainly because we cant get local channels), but we also watch movies, tv programming and play games from our HDTV connected to our Mac Pro. It would be so awesome, weve considered, if we could control our appliances, tv, Mac Pro, xbox, lighting, thermostat (although we currently use an indoor wood stove for heating our home, outdoor wood stoves can actually be wired for control via smart devices like iPhones, tablets and android devices already), window treatments, etc., but unfortunately we can only use our kinect device with our xbox gaming/media console. And between using our Mac Pro & Xbox, I cant see the need for having an Apple TV, unless one day we can control all our electronics and electrically powered or controlled devices, play games with the kids, interact with family and friends, watch movies and tv programming (awesome if we could pick up streaming live network tv news and shows online) by voice and hand gestures through some sort of Apple TV or Apple HomeKit device that plays seemlessly with all our Apple devices, iPhones, iPads, MacBooks & Mac Pro. Now THAT would be something to get excited about, but like THAT will ever see the light of day from Apple... Right?
