Why do people consider me downing blacks and keeping a slave mentality when I say that black directors need to evolve? Tyler Perry and Tim Story follow the same formula of preachy movies and wonder why they dont appeal to a broad audience....and most others portray ourselves as gangstas, dealers, womanizers and very few put a black male in a positive light unless he loves Jesus and is church going. Why cant we just make a movie like every other race does without us staying within the lines. For once it would be nice to see an all black sci fi flick....or a well done superhero movie that isnt on the lines of Meteor Man or Blank man?
