Why do some people hate the word sorry, or pasensya na when - TopicsExpress

Why do some people hate the word sorry, or pasensya na when somebody offended them, yet morally, uttering apologies when you hurt someone is just the right thing to do? Okay some would say cos its disappointing. Saying sorry, when permitted is like giving someone a new ticket to repeat the things he have done. But what should a guilty man/woman do? Just ignore things as if nothing happened? Would it be rude for not even saying sorry? But yeah, here comes the argument that humans have diverse personality. Some would prefer hearing an apology, some would want to preserve the angst he/she have in order to see if something will change. But....isnt asking for an apology really the right thing to do? Or my conclusions are rather philosophically biased and subjective, for I want peace and reconciliation? How about the others? Why am I thinking things I absolutely know the answer? Okay, facebook, heres whats on my mind right now.
