Why do the masses, have to complicate the message ?, when God sent his Son down to make it so simple to understand. Because He Loved us first, Jesus took on our sins, the burden of all our worst, first to the cross and then to the grave, three days later he arose, so that our souls might now be saved. Now I’ve been saved by the blood of Jesus, I’ve been washed by the blood of the Lamb, I’ve been redeemed by the Lion of Judah. The only begotten Son of the Great I Am. What kind of Love have I been shown, a kind of Love this man has never known. A King that would shed his blood for me, by being nailed to a cross at a place called Calvary. Even my mother who loved me dearly, and was there to hold and to comfort me, could never bring such peace to the young mans heart, or make a new man and then set him free. That’s why I want to thank my Jesus. I need to thank my Lord. Yes I’ve got to thank my Jesus, for paying a price no one else could afford. God’s Son and a willing sacrifice, determined to do, his Fathers will. Resolute to give his own life for me, always knowing that his own blood had to spill. Yes I want to Thank my Jesus, Yes I have to Thank my Lord, I praise the name of Jesus for paying a price, that no one else could ever afford. For me it started, when I opened my heart to let Jesus in, then He made a new man of me, and I was able to start over again. Surely the very rocks on the ground would cry out, if no one gave praise to his name, and one day, every knee shall bow, at the mention of his name. I made him my God as once did Ruth, and I hunger for him daily and seek to learn His truth. Though this world tries to take me off my pace, He renews me daily as I run this race. It’s only by the saving blood of Jesus, it’s only by the cleansing blood of the Lamb, it’s only by being redeemed by the Lion of Judah. The only begotten Son of the Great I Am. He went from being a symbol to me, to becoming my most trusted friend, so I’ll sing his praises joyfully, till this body meets its end. Why do the Masses, have to complicate the message…
