Why do we celebrate National Reconciliation Week from 27 May to 3 June? These are the dates that commemorate two significant milestones in the reconciliation journey. May 27 marks the anniversary of Australia’s most successful referendum and a defining event in our nation’s history. And on 3 June, 1992, the High Court of Australia delivered its landmark Mabo decision. For more information on these defining events, check out the resources page of the #NRW2014 website.
