Why is it that when colledge educated people write--its written - TopicsExpress

Why is it that when colledge educated people write--its written almost like a foreigner? I think--"spell it" or "speak English". Is it necessary to write/speak to sound good or to get a message across simply without the non-essentials like big words etc. --it appears some are writing to impress how smart that they think they are. Being understood with those kind of teachers or people is of no concern--their ego needs to share in a hard to understand way--i am around average to slightly above and i get it but it makes it hard to think or understand as quickly and why? Of course its to satisfy the ego in some cases--narcisism is quite common and it is not concerned about others even when explaining caring subjects--?
