A true devotee should fully surrender, and be in complete contentment, whatever may happen. Truly speaking, this is more difficult than the Path of Wisdom (Jnana marga). But do not despair. The river must flow back to its source; it must flow on and on, down and deeper until it merges in the ocean. Do not be discouraged, keep your hope on, you have to win some day. Having taken all the effort to receive good counsel in spirituality, you must put into practice at least one teaching. One stick is enough to light a fire, the entire box of matches is not needed.
