Wigan Warriors are delighted to unveil New York Brass band as the first act to perform at the Big One 5 at the DW Stadium on 5th September. A huge night of entertainment will surround the Warriors highly anticipated home Super league fixture with Leeds Rhinos, and the contemporary New Orleans inspired Brass Band have today been added to the Joining Jack legends game as part of the pre-match entertainment. New York Brass Band is a powerhouse 7-piece hailing from North Yorkshire, with a line-up of percussion, sax, trumpets, trombones and sousaphone. The band take its inspiration from contemporary New Orleans musicians, but have wide ranging repertoire with some funky, gritty northern originals thrown in for good measure.
