Wilderness Sometimes it is good to walk in the mist of wilderness, GOD appears in the middle of the wilderness. GOD takes you to the wilderness for Him to be able rescue you and show your enemies that He is great GOD. You wont be in the wilderness without GODs presence. The wilderness is the place were GOD takes you and be able to talk to you man to man. He knows when you are in the wilderness you will have his attention and focus on Him alone. David is the witness of that. In the book of Psalm 23: Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my [brimming] cup runs over. 6 Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place. GOD will not let you without Him being able to protect you. He knows what will happen in the middle of the wilderness. He is not far to rescue you from the devil. He takes you to the wilderness for you to see when He defeats the devil and his angles in front of you. When you are the witness, for you to be able to praise His name and give honor to Him for His is good GOD. In the book of Exodus : 14: 3-4 3 For Pharaoh will say of the Israelite s, They are entangled in the land; the wilderness has shut them in. 4 I will harden (make stubborn, strong) Pharaoh’s heart, that he will pursue them, and I will gain honor and glory over Pharaoh and all his host, and the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord. And they did so. When you are in the middle of wilderness the devil whisperes in your ears and tells your that GOD has left you and He wont be able to help you. You are defeated and you are alone. You can make it. Exodus 14: 11 And they said to Moses, Is it because there are no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you treated us this way and brought us out of Egypt? 12 Did we not tell you in Egypt, Let us alone; let us serve the Egyptians? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness. 13 Moses told the people, Fear not; stand still (firm, confident, undismayed) and see the salvation of the Lord which He will work for you today. For the Egyptians you have seen today you shall never see again. 14 The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest. 15 The Lord said to Moses, Why do you cry to Me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward! GOD takes you the the wilderness to show you His worth. He takes you to show you your ability. He takes you to your blessings. NOW MOSES kept the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian; and he led the flock to the back or west side of the wilderness and came to Horeb or Sinai, the mountain of God. 2 The Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush; and he looked, and behold, the bush burned with fire, yet was not consumed. 3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush is not burned. 4 And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the midst of the bush and said, Moses, Moses! And he said, Here am I. 5 God said, Do not come near; put your shoes off your feet, for the place on which you stand is holy ground. 6 Also He said, I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God. 7 And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters and oppressors; for I know their sorrows and sufferings and trials. 8 And I have come down to deliver them out of the hand and power of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land to a land good and large, a land flowing with milk and honey [a land of plenty]--to the place of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite. 9 Now behold, the cry of the Israelites has come to Me, and I have also seen how the Egyptians oppress them. God rescue you from the hands of your enemies while you are in the middle of the wilderness, when you think that there is no one who can rescue you. God will send his Angel or mercy to rescue you and takes you to the the place of safety. God uses the world of wilderness to teach you to be humble and be able to respects Him. When you are in the middle of wilderness no one will like to come to visit you. Even your family distance itsself from you. They fear to be associated with you, fear to be seen near your. When king Nebucannezer was in the middle of the middle of wilderness. No one came to visit him, that includes his wife and his sons, his members of his cabinet, prophets and every one could not go and pay a visit to him. He was alone with wild animals, he behaved and be like animal. He inherited their live style
