Will Chinese be the International language in about 200 years from now ? China is the largest manufacturing economy in the world, outpacing its world rival in this category, the service-driven economy of the United States of America. The success of the Chinese is the focused approach. They have only one political ideology, one language and only one view over religion. Chinese do not waste their energies arguing about languages, religions, politics, faith and beliefs. There is no room for time wasting and energy consuming discussions that we Indians are so fond of. Chinese do not make issues out of the non-issues. All land and property is state owned. Ownership rights are protected under The Property Law of the People’s Republic of China, which gives the owner the right to possess, utilize, dispose of and obtain profits from the real property. However, this right has to comply with laws and social morality. It can harm neither public interests nor the legitimate rights and interests of others. This prevents anyone to greedily acquire huge acres of lands, which is seen as a passion among the rich and powerful Indians. Our newspapers and electronic media right from early morning, drives people towards issues which create controversies and confusion in the minds of the audience. I believe if we rise above language, political and religious differences, as a country we can prove to be much better than anyone in the world. Some people believe that without the ‘news’ they can’t participate in conversations and they shall be seen as unintelligent and uninformed. It is not so. Without the newspapers the television, the arguments and the useless discussions, one can not only survive but thrive happily.
